I clicked, read a brief synopsis (and looked at the length I didnt want anything that would take days), and quickly decided on Osteen. Opening my iTunes app, this book was one of the first to scroll across the screen. In addition, the person with whom I was meeting was going through some turmoil herself, and I prayed that the book would offer insight on how to help her as well.
It was going to be dark for most of the trip, so I needed something to I keep me engaged and help the drive pass by quickly.ĭeciding on an audio book, I said a short prayer asking for something that would be inspiring to myself, something that I really needed on this day and point in my life.
Thus, I was going to be on the road for four hours with spotty cell service. I had to make two hour trip through the Ozark Mountains for a meeting and then drive back home.
